  • I’m Layed Off, What Do I Do Now?

    Stress

Several steps have been outlined by the experts.

    File for Unemployment

If you have access to the Internet and you just might if you are reading this, visit your state’s unemployment office. The U.S. Department of Labor has set up an incredible website: CareerOneStop.org

    Call Your Creditors

Don’t be shy. Call everyone you owe money to and let them know the circumstances. Use the phone, not email.

Then try hard to negotiate. If you have a good credit rating, this is probably the only time you should ever take advantage of a zero interest transfer. If you do this, make sure you understand what “zero” means. It could mean service fee, it could mean a very high rate after the grace period and it could mean you pay interest during the entire grace period if you miss paying after the grace period. Be very careful.

    Cut Your Expenses

The list is long but simple things like preparing your own meals, cancelling subscriptions, streaming services, etc. Yes, maybe it is time to suffer a bit.

  • Wash Your Hands?

Wash your hands. That is the mantra we are hearing over and over as the simplest way to protect ourselves, our loved ones, and our community from the spread of the coronavirus. But for children across Africa – like 5-year-old Christivie – there’s a big problem. There is no water.

  • Coronavirus Trajectory

    World Data

As the coronavirus spreads rapidly around the world, several countries seem to be moving along a similar upward trajectory. According to numbers by Johns Hopkins collected by the website Worldometers, case counts in the U.S., Germany and France have been growing at almost the same rate since hitting 100+ cases, which happened on February 29 in France, March 1 in Germany and March 2 in the U.S. Case counts in Spain sadly accelerated over the weekend and hit almost 8,000 on Sunday – meaning that cases numbers are growing faster than in Italy when the country was in the same stage of the outbreak that Spain is in now. 1

  • Trump’s Fake Faith

Living in mansions, flying in personal jets are the trappings of the new Christianity. At least according to impeached Trump who panders and listens to a women who lathers herself in the riches of her congregants, Christianity has been polluted by Money. 2

[Impeached] “President Donald Trump’s personal pastor, the televangelist Paula White, is facing criticism after praying for the miscarriage of “all Satanic pregnancies” during a sermon earlier this month.” 3

  • Trump’s Speech: It’s Always Somebody Else’s Fault

    Embarassed

Instead of Orange-Faced, Trump Should Be Red-Faced

A president, looking especially orange, who seemed uneasy making a teleprompter speech and while stumbling over several words, tried to ease the nation’s fears about he coronavirus. Why did he look so orange? It almost appeared as if he was sick himself.

    But What Really Happened?

Test Kits: Absolutely no mention of testing the US population. How are they being distributed. Who will be getting test first. Where can the population go to get tested?

European Union: They were at fault? Come on. What planet are you from? The European Union “failed to take the same precautions and restrict travel from China and other hotspots. As a result, a large number of new clusters in the United States were seeded by travelers from Europe.” 4

China: Again, blame somebody else. He says this is a “foreign virus”. 5

Exempt the United Kingdom: How stupid? They are also being affected by the virus. They actually have a higher caseload per population that some other European countries.

Stop the Trade of Goods: Although clarified later in a Twitter feed, he said “these prohibitions will not only apply to the tremendous amount of trade and cargo, but various other things as we get approval”.
