“Last week, a Republican who participated in Trump’s “fake elector” scheme was unmasked as the sole financier of an anti-Trump group — a political action committee that supports Ron DeSantis’ presidential bid.

Jim Lamon, who launched a failed U.S. Senate bid in Arizona last year, was outed by campaign finance expert Rob Pyers, who shared documents identifying Lamon as the lone backer of a super PAC that has aired multiple anti-Trump ads on conservative media.” 1

“Jim Lamon, who ran for the U.S. Senate in Arizona, but lost to the Trump-endorsed candidate, Blake Masters, in August 2022, was part of a group of Republican figures, including Arizona GOP chair Kelli Ward and State Senator Jake Hoffman, who met in December 2020 to sign a document falsely declaring themselves the “duly elected and qualified electors” for the state and award Trump the 11 electoral votes.”2

“Authorities have not said whether the Arizona electors could face criminal charges. The Republican electors from Arizona included Jim Lamon, currently a U.S. Senate candidate; Jake Hoffman, a state representative; Anthony Kern, a former state lawmaker running for a state Senate seat; and Kelli Ward, the state Republican Party chair.”3

A little gem when driving the historic Route 66 through Arizona. This little unassuming historic building maintains a great staff serving down home just good food that you would expect in a small town diner.

Wow! She Sure Loves Pharma Money

Read what Kaiser Health News says about Sinema

“Sen. Kyrsten Sinema formed a congressional caucus to raise “awareness of the benefits of personalized medicine” in February. Soon after that, employees of pharmaceutical companies donated $35,000 to her campaign committee.

Amgen gave $5,000. So did Genentech and Merck. Sanofi, Pfizer and Eli Lilly all gave $2,500. Each of those companies has invested heavily in personalized medicine, which promises individually tailored drugs that can cost a patient hundreds of thousands of dollars.

A Kaiser Health News database tracks campaign donations from drugmakers over the past 10 years.

Sinema is a first-term Democrat from Arizona but has nonetheless emerged as a pharma favorite in Congress as the industry steers through a new political and economic landscape formed by the coronavirus.

She is a leading recipient of pharma campaign cash even though she’s not up for reelection until 2024 and lacks major committee or subcommittee leadership posts. For the 2019-20 election cycle through March, political action committees run by employees of drug companies and their trade groups gave her $98,500 in campaign funds, Kaiser Health News’ Pharma Cash to Congress database shows.”

“Gov. Why Biggs Should NOT Be In Congress

“The rock-and-roll-loving Mormon has his own fair share of critics inside the party who appear largely unfamiliar with his past. Some House Republicans view Biggs’ legislative persona as an unlicensed backseat driver, a constant no vote who still tries to give direction on how to make policy. Out of the roughly 760 bills he’s introduced, only four have become law.” 5

This is outrageous. Our nation has promised care for our veterans and the VA is failing to deliver that promise.” 7
