    Halt Request Filed

Gay GlobeMoments ago, Lambda Legal and OutServe-SLDN asked a federal court to immediately halt all steps taken to implement the Trump administration’s discriminatory plan to ban transgender individuals from serving openly in the U.S. Armed Services.

They filed this motion for preliminary injunction on behalf of the nine individual transgender plaintiffs, six current service members and three individuals who wish to join the military, and three organizational plaintiffs – the Human Rights Campaign (HRC), Seattle-based Gender Justice League, and the American Military Partner Association (AMPA) – that they are representing.

These service members are willing to put themselves on the line for them. And they will not stop fighting for our trans service members.

  • Charlottesville Conspiracy Theories Begin

“I witnessed a terrorist attack in Charlottesville. Then the conspiracy theories began.”

    On Politico.com, Brennan Gilmore writes:

Last Sunday evening, I received a worried call from my sister asking if I had spoken with my mother and father. I had spent the day doing interviews about the vehicle attack I witnessed the day before while protesting the Unite the Right rally in Charlottesville and had not been in front of a computer all day. She told me that my parents’ home address had been posted on a neo-Nazi conspiracy theorist message board.

“They are suggesting that you arranged the attack, Brennan,” she said. “There are death threats against you.” [1]
