Violation of Privacy
Arizona Secretary of State Michele Reagan might be violating standard privacy rules by providing the Federal Government with voter registration information.
Much of the voter registration is currently public and is provided to certain political organizations for a small administration fee.
Your Social Security number is considered to be private. Even providing the last four digits of voter’s social numbers may violate many privacy standards.
The National Conference of State Legislatures[2] also has procedures in place for insuring voter list accuracy. There is no other reason for the Federal Government requesting this information except for voter intimidation.

The honor recognizes the community-changing success of “Wayne County Confidential: Government Run Amok,” WXYZ’s years-long investigative series focused on politics in Wayne County, Mich.
Investigative journalists Heather Catallo and Ross Jones broke the story of former Wayne County Economic Development Director Turkia Mullin’s $200,000 secret severance package.
