Make Sure You Are Registered to Vote!

    Wake Up, America!
Vote! Make sure you are Registered!

With Republican legislators restricting your access to Vote, make sure you are registered

No matter if you live in the United States, outside of the country, or are actively serving in the armed forces, registering to vote is easier than ever before.

    Citizens: Go to vote.gov

U.S. Citizens Abroad: Visit the United States Department of State

Military / Veterans: See the Federal Voting Assistance Program – Using the FPCA ensures that your state will send your ballot to you at least 45 days before the election — a protection not guaranteed when using other forms. It’s a good idea to send in a new FPCA every January and each time you move.

June was PRIDE Month, and VA takes pride in striving to improve the health and healthcare for LGBTQ+ Veterans. There are an estimated one million lesbian, gay, and bisexual Veterans in the United States. Research also shows that transgender identity is about five times more common among Veterans than non-Veterans.

Sexual and gender minority Veterans have faced stigma and discrimination, which can affect health, so VA is working to make sure that LGBTQ+ Veterans know they are welcome within the VA healthcare system.

For information about services, reach out to our Phoenix VA LGBTQ+ Veteran Care Coordinator, Dr. Ash Senter, at 602-234-7190.

“The Court should not be so content to ignore its constitutional obligations to protect not only the rights of women, but also the sanctity of its precedents and of the rule of law.” – Justice Sonia Sotomayor

“Usually there has to be a… strong justification, in a case like this (in reference to Mississippi’s abortion ban) beyond the fact that you think the case is wrong.” – Justice Elena Kagan
